Central Park Conservancy Trash and Recycling System
While working as Associate Design Director at Landor, I developed the a new suite of Trash and Recycling units for Central Park as a part of a new waste and recycling program.
The park has rigorous operational requirements to help service its 40+ million visitors per year, and these all aluminum receptacles are designed to hold up under daily use.

The cans are made completely from aluminum, with a sustainable powder coat finish that emits no VOCs. I worked directly with the vendor in Michigan to develop the design, which is now in use in at least three other major metropolitan areas.
