Universal Phone Tray
The Universal Phone Tray is a packaging solution that allows for more than a dozen different mobile phones to be shipped in their original boxes. Made of a single molded fiber component, the tray uses a special 3d die-cutting tool to create foldable flaps within a rigid frame. This combination of flexibility and strength means the tray can conform to a variety of dimensions. The tray is also compatible with a wide range of phones — including Apple, Samsung, Motorola, and more.
The tray is 100% plastic-free, recyclable, and compostable. It uses a mix of fast-growing bamboo and bagasse, an agricultural byproduct whose reclamation reduces waste in and of itself. The tray is also produced in an environmentally conscious facility using traditional grid power augmented by solar and wind energy. Once it’s produced, the tray stacks, stores, and ships more efficiently, saving both space and energy. Our team was granted 4 patents for this design.
